Many of you know, our office has been through many changes in the past few years. We implemented a few earlier this year which resulted in improvements to workflow so far this year. We are continuing to look at ways to improve client experience while allowing our staff the downtime needed to be their best for you.
After discussing what changes we could make in the office so that summer would feel like a break after the stressful tax filing season, it was decided to try a 4-day work week. We will be working 10-hour days on Monday through Thursday. This will allow us to have more downtime. We have done research and found that this has made many offices more productive, so we are going to give it a shot. We are sure that you’d agree; most of us would like a bit more time with family, friends, and the great outdoors.
Effective Monday, April 24, 2023, the office will be open Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 12:00 pm then 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. It will be closed Friday through Sunday.
When tax filing season comes around next year, we will be back to working our 80+ hours a week to get as much work completed as possible.
